Martena is very anxious about not losing out to Relenia, though she seems to end up quite often in sexually charged situations with Relenia and another girl, Edel. The three of them navigate their life in the harem together!

The children of the Sendai family--Retsuto, Akari, Marin and Mashiro--live in a very unusual home with their parents and grandfather. Riku experienced a lot of pain and tragedy in his early life. After his father's death, a former-boxer Yakuza man taught him how to do a basic punch, and that punch saved his life when he had to defend himself from his mom's drug dealer. He ended up taking the drug dealer's life, marking him as a killer. Criminals continued to come after him, leading to more tragedy for the people who attempted to care for him. All of this drove him to ask that same former boxer to teach him to become stronger, which led him to a rundown gym, his door to the world of pro boxing!

Nothing much interested me this week. I would recommend Hakuginhi for people who are in the mood for some comedy and boobs, and Rikudou for those in the mood for violence and boxing.
My opinion: Hakuginhi ∼Princess of silvery white∼ - If you're looking for a new ecchi series, with girls getting into *certain* situations, then take a look at this manga. Homemade Heroes - If you're in the mood for a more interesting take on "super hero" family life as a 4koma, then you may instead want to check out this manga instead. Rikudou - If you like boxing then take a look at this manga. It kind of gives me a "Ashita no Joe" (Tomorrow's Joe) vibe, a 1960's manga/anime. If you like that type of manga, then you may like this one as well... Saru! Money! - On the other hand, if you would rather read about yakuza and the world of money, then this manga would be more your style. Zetsurin! - This is also another really ecchi series, but more so since it looks like a certain body part is a major weapon. If you want some really ridiculous situations mixed in with your ecchiness, then you should check this one instead.

Smoking Gun was my favorite this week. It seemed like it was going to have a pretty good balance between mystery-of-the-chapter and a longer-running story. Boku no Suki na Sensee would be good for anyone in the mood for a book-learning != life-experience comedy. Asa Meshi Mae looks like it will take more of the heartwarming route, as Gen's work at the restaurant influences different people's lives. Here's what DrCoke had to say:

Haru no Kamikaze is simply adorable. If you like little kittens and and feel-good-slice-of-life type 4koma mangas, you'd love this one.
My opinion: Asa Meshi Mae - If you like cooking, and want a more heart warming manga, then you should check this manga out. Boku no Suki na Sensee - If you're in the mood for a short 1 volume comedy and you want to watch a guy who isn't good with kids struggle as a preschool teacher, then this manga is for you. Boku no Suki na Sensee - On the other hand, if you like slice of life comedies in 4koma form, then you might want to read this one instead. Smoking Gun - Minkan Kasouken Chousain Nagareda Midori - If you like watching CSI type shows with a mystery element and an eccentric protagonist, then take a look at this manga.

The story is set in the Bakumatsu era, at the end of the shoguns' rule over Japan in the middle of the 19th century. The Tokugawa shogunate uses the brainwashing Heaven's Songs by the top idols in Shinsengumi to subjugate the country and its people. In this Japan, writing or singing any songs besides the Heaven's Songs is a capital offense. Sakamoto Ryouma and the other rockers rise up and change the world with rock 'n' roll for freedom and justice.
The story revolves around Haruka Nanase, a boy who has always loved to be immersed in water, and to swim in it. Before graduating from elementary school, he participated in a swimming tournament along with his fellow swimming club members, Makoto Tachibana, Nagisa Hazuki, and Rin Matsuoka. After achieving victory, each of the boys went their separate ways.
Time passed, and in the middle of their uneventful high school lives Rin appears and challenges Haruka to a match, showing Haruka his overwhelming power. Not wanting it to end like this, Haruka, gathers together Makoto and Nagisa once again and brings a new member named Rei Ryugazaki to create the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club in order to defeat Rin.

An ordinary college student named Kaneki encounters Rize, a girl who is an avid reader like him, at the café he frequents. Little does he realize that his fate will change overnight.
The story is about the life of a high school girl, Nanako, and her senpai, Yukari, who end up becoming the town's local idols (locodol) upon the request of her uncle.
The "dream railway paradise entertainment" story is set in a parallel world where Japan did not privatize its national railways. Naohito Takayama is an ordinary high school boy who dreams of a comfortable future working for the top-rated Japanese National Railways. He is assigned as a trainee in the Railways Security Force full of odd characters such as Sakurai, a troublemaker who hates men. On top of that, an extremist group called "RJ" plots to privatize the Japanese National Railways.

Now, she must complete the task of getting Shibaki to use up 666 magic tickets that grant wishes before she can become a witch again. However, what she doesn't know is that each time he uses a ticket it shortens his life. When the last ticket is used up, Shibaki will die. Shibaki knows this because Rurumo's familiar black cat Chiro tell him as part of the "contract" for giving him the tickets. Now, Shibaki has a choice, make a wish and help Rurumo become a witch again or resist the temptation and try to save his own life.

When a certain man is released from prison, he knows exactly where he's heading first. The performer, Yakumo, has never taken an apprentice before, but to everyone's surprise, he accepts the eager ex-prisoner, nicknaming him "Yotaro."
As Yotaro happily begins his new life, he meets others in Yakumo's life, including Yakumo's ward Konatsu. Konatsu was the daughter of a famous storyteller, and Yakumo took her in after her father's tragic death. Konatsu loved her father's storytelling, and would love to become a performer in her own right--but that path is not available for women.

Marine Corps Yumi is completely ridiculous, if you're in the mood for that kind of gag manga. Shôwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjû was probably my favorite, though I was a bit more interested in Konatsu than in the main character guy . And it seems like there are actually female traditional storytellers in current day, though still not a bunch of them. Homura no Me was really violent, and not really the kind of story I was in the mood to read today. It's definitely for people who want a darker story.
My opinion: Agunesu Kamen - If you like wrestling or want to read more about wrestling, then you should pick this manga up. Einstein 1904 - It might be interesting to check out this manga to see Einstein as a sort of detective, and to solve a mystery, no less~ If you like mysteries, then I would suggest checking this manga out. Homura no Me - This manga is a lot darker than the rest of the manga so if you're looking for a more serious manga with some supernatural/fantasy element thrown in, then this manga may be the one for you. Marinko Yumi - On the other hand, this manga seems a bit too silly, but if you would like to see a high school girl try her hand at being a Marine and are in the mood for slaptstick comedy, then check this one out. Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu - I agree with tethy and this one seems the most interesting to me. I'm interested in seeing how the prisoner gets reformed and becomes a story teller and how Konatsu tries to become a storyteller and possibly forge her way for other women.

Wakako Zake is a pretty simple story, and I am not sure how many volumes that premise could support. Hatsukoi Monster is actually really innocent so far, and could shape up to be a cute story (as long as it doesn't go in a serious romance direction). Raijuu: This manga is so adorable... I couldn't help but let out a few "D'AWWWWW"s. The characters are super adorable and lovable. I recommend this one out of the three I read.
My opinion: Chimamire Sukeban Chainsaw - If you like horror and ecchi, then check this one out. Enjigakari - If you are in the mood for a short one volume school life ecchi series then take a look at this series. Hatsukoi Monster - If you are in the mood for love, then this manga is the one for you. Magicalize - If you like magical girls and ecchiness, then this is another manga you should read. Raijuu Biri Biri - Ooedo Ayakashi Hankachou - If you want a supernatural slice of life manga, then you may want to check this one out instead of all the ecchi series featured this week. Wakako-Zake - If you are a fan of drinking, and want a nice slice of life type manga, then you may like this one instead.

This 4-koma style comic follows the high school life of Nazuna. She's attending an all girl's high school that is way up on a hill from the nearest station. The bus is infrequent, so simply getting to school can often be a challenge. Saotome Akira is constantly exercising, and surpasses Watabe in sports, but her self-worth is tied up with her skill in sports. Izumi Chinatsu, on the other hand, is an all-around failure that simply gets in Watabe's way. Watabe interacts with Morino and Saotome to learn their secrets, and ends up paired with Izumi against his wishes. The three girls are all lonely and friendless, and interpret his interactions as friendly overtures. It looks like Watabe's school life is going to be very different than he imagined!

Of the two high school slice of life 4-koma manga, Wataru Seken Wa Baka Bakari was my favorite. My opinion: Baki-Dou - If you like the art and/or story of Baki and fighting series, then this is a must-read. Domestic na Kanojo - If you like shounen romance stories, then you may want to read this from the mangaka of GE - Good Ending. Hopefully, this manga will end a bit better. I'd probably be the most interested in this since I read GE... Porikou - If you're interested in the world of police work, then you may want to check this manga out instead. Tsukushi Massugu Life! - If you like 4koma school life comedies, then you should read this manga. Wataru Seken wa Baka Bakari - This is also a 4koma school life comedy, but the art looks a bit better and seems less off the wall weird than the previous manga.

After their first adventure together, Sue joins him on his journey to collect all the witch's treasures. He claims he is only interested in their beauty, but what will happen if he actually recovers them all?

I enjoyed the Mitsukubi Condor series more than its one-shot. I guess there is a lot more that you can put in a series (like the history, legends, and current political situation), and it seems like there is more to Marshmellow than meets the eye. Yoakemono would probably be a good one for people who want a super-powered-shinsengumi battle manga, and it seemed pretty violent for a shounen. Monogatari no Naka no Hito seemed a little plain, but my opinion is based on two chapters. It's possible that things get really interesting after they get to magic school.
My opinion: Mitsukubi Condor - If you're interested in reading an action adventure comedy, then you should check this one out. Monogatari no Naka no Hito - If you like a school life magic/fantasy, then this may be the manga for you to check out. Out of the three, this sounds the most interesting because of the mysterious man. Yoakemono - This is also an action fantasy, but in a more historical setting so if you like that combination, then this may be the manga for you.

Fudatsuki Kenji is known in school for two things: for being a delinquent and for having a sister complex. He constantly follows his sister Kyoko around, fixing her giant ribbon and chasing off any boys who might be interested in her. However, the truth is much stranger than people believe. He actually doesn't have a crush on his sister-- in fact, he likes Hibino, the only girl in class who isn't afraid of him.
The problem is that his sister is literally monster. She's a jiangshi (vampire), who is much stronger than an ordinary person and who needs a certain amount of blood from Kenji each day. Her ribbon keeps her in check, but if it comes off, she instinctively attacks the nearest person. Her ribbon also has a huge affect on her personality. With the ribbon, she's irritable and sharp-tempered, but without it, she's extremely sweet and apologetic (while she attacks). Will Kenji be able to keep his sister from hurting anyone, and maybe find some way to overcome his sister-complex reputation enough to have a chance with Hibino?

During the era of the Tokugawa shogunate, there existed 12 samurai families that served under the emperor. They were called the "Tokugawa Jyuni Shinshou." Each of these samurai families passed down generations of each of their own unique martial art styles, and their mission was to protect the peace brought about by the Tokugawa shogunate.
Kuroshima Kotetsu, our main character, is the younger of the siblings in the Kuroshima family. The Kuroshima family is one of the 12 Shinshou families. Kotetsu will be in-line to succeed the next position as the master of the family, or so it was supposed to be until the invasion of the Black Ship. The invaders aboard the Black Ship brought with them weapons with enormous power, crushing the Japanese government. Kotetsu will now have to become stronger and fight for his beloved country and save the Japanese people.

25-year-old Moriyama Mikuri has an advanced degree, but has had no luck finding a permanent position. When Mikuri learns that her parents are planning to move to the country, she realizes her time is running out. She still has had no luck starting her career, so it seems she will have no option but to move to the country with her parents. She finds another option in moving in with Tsuzaki, who doesn't want to lose his housekeeper. To deal with the scandal of their living together, they get married--though just on paper. Now Mikuri starts her unusual new life, as a woman looking to start her career and as a new 'wife'!

Sakura Taboo looks like it will be an interesting crime drama, focused more on the manipulation/betrayal/interpersonal stuff more than action. "Nigeru..." sounds like a setup for a silly comedy manga, but it seems to be taking the subject in a pretty realistic direction. I expect they'll probably fall in love at some point, but I hope she gets to have her career too! Kurotora: This one's a battle-centric shounen manga. It's action packed and fast paced, focusing on the various unique martial arts styles.
Issen: Similar in genre to Kurotora, but centered around various fantastical weapons that lie within each character. This one's also fast paced and action packed.
My opinion: Fudatsuki no Kyoko-chan - An interesting mix of school life and fantasy with some comedy thrown in. If you're a fan of vampires and want to see something a bit different, then you should check this one out. Issen - A short one-shot filled with action so if you are in the mood for action, then this might be up your alley. Kurotora - This sounds a little bit more historical based, like the Black Ship represents Commodore Perry and his coming to Japan, but more extreme in that they destroyed the Japanese government. Well, maybe it's just around the same setting, but with more of a focus on action and martial arts. If you like action/martial arts, but want a longer series, then check this one out (maybe after reading Issen)... Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu - If, on the other hand, you want the complete opposite of action, then this manga about a woman struggling to find a job and marrying someone in order to stay in the city is the manga for you. Although the marriage part seems unrealistic and you can probably expect the two to fall in love, this may turn out to be interesting... Sakura Taboo - However, if you are in the mood for a murder mystery with some shady things going on in the police force, then this is definitely the manga for you. I'd be curious to see who actually killed his superior (and if it really was a cop)... Soremite – Soredemo Rei ga Mite Mitai - If you want something more light hearted and like paranormal activity (and not the movie), ghost hunting and going to different "haunted" areas, then you should check out this manga instead.

A terrorist group has declared independence on the South Pole, and they have placed extremely powerful nitrogen bombs off many coasts. They plan to take revenge on the world, by forcing them to live briefly in fear and then die. The US tragically failed to defuse the bombs. There are three of them off the coast of Japan, set to explode in 10 days. Luckily, the Japanese bomb disposal team has a powerful resource.
That resource is a little genius girl, Machida Machiko. She's looked after by Aranagi Nagito, a trainee bomb defuser. She's made a pact with him, and with the leader of the bomb disposal program, to clear out the bombs and clean up the world. After certain events in their first defusing operation, though, it looks like all they'll have left to use is a defusing program written by Machiko. Will they be able to save Japan and stop the powerful terrorists?

Pact was my favorite this week, though the first volume left some pretty major questions open. It's a very violent story, though, and I'm not sure where the story will go after the 10 days of defusing the bombs around Japan's coast. "Nejimaki..." seems like it could be pretty promising too, with the kids stuck in enemy territory. "Koi ga saku..." was pretty obviously based on a dating sim, so it would be good for people who are into those kinds of stories.
My opinion: Koi ga Saku Koro Sakura Doki - Graceful Blue - If you like harem-type manga with ecchi thrown in, then this would be a manga you should check out. Nejimaki Seirei Senki - Tenkyou no Alderamin - If you like a more military-type manga that isn't too realistic, then you may want to read this manga. Pact - Out of the three, this seems the most interesting to me. Although it's not realistic that a little girl could diffuse the bombs, it may be interesting to see how she does it, and what may become of the other bombs.

This story, in the universe of Suisei no Gargantia, follows Bellows, a side character in the original series, where the planet is covered with water and humanity lives in various large fleets of ships. The story begins three years before Ledo (from a spacefaring civilization) arrives. When Bellow's fleet is destroyed, she is rescued by a fleet of salvage ships, which send teams of yumboros (human operated excavation robots) under the water to recover goods. Her skill with yumboros is valued by her new fleet, and she soon joins the salvaging team.

My favorite this time was the Suisei no Gargantia one. I really liked the anime, so it was neat to see more of Bellows story, and more details about how people lived in the fleets. The first chapter is really heavy on the fan service, though. Kudamimi no Neko is not really my kind of story, but it had its cute moments. Shin Seikaiju No Meikyuu seems based on the 3DS dungeon crawl game, so I expect it will be heavy on the action.
My opinion: Kudamimi no Neko - If you're a fan of ecchi and mikos, then you may want to check out this manga. Suisei no Gargantia - Mizuhana no Bellows - If you like the manga/anime Suisei no Gargantia and like sci-fi ecchi manga and want to read more, then you should check this manga instead. Shin Sekaiju no Meikyuu - Millennium no Shoujo - If you like the Nintendo 3DS game and like action adventure manga, then this manga is for you.

Boku no Hero Academia: This one's a fantastic read if you're into super powers and love a David and the Goliath type stories.
Sleipnir: I didn't find this one to be too interesting.

My opinion: Boku no Hero Academia - If you like superheroes, and watching a boy try to attain his dream of being a hero despite having no powers, then you may want to check this manga out. Mayonaka no X Giten -If you like gender benders, and body swaps and a surprise twist at the end (and this is good for those who can't read Japanese since 3 chapters are already scanlated), then this manga is for you. This manga sounds the most interesting of the three. Sleipnir - If you're a fan of sci-fi/action adventures, then you should this one out instead.

Both "Uchi no Maou Kamimasen yo" and "Gokuaku Bambina" are really silly, cute comedies, though I'm not sure how much mileage the authors can get out of either premise. "Domino" is the one this week for anyone wanting a more serious story.
My opinion: Domino - If you're interested in crime/murder mysteries, while learning about the detectives solving them, then you should check out this manga. Gokuaku Bambina! - If you like comedy about hitman (premise sounds a bit like hitman reborn), then you may like this manga. Uchi no Maou Kamimasen yoasen yo - If you like the idea of Satan being a pet and are in the mood for comedy, then this may be for you.
