Namco Bandai announced that they will be developing a Gintama game for the PSP called Gintama no Sugoroku. Unfortunately no other information has been released for it.

Ryukishi07's latest visual novel, Rose Guns Days, will be getting a manga adaptation. It will be published in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker magazine and character designer, Sōichirō, will be the manga-ka.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata explained that there were two reasons they decided to implement Miiverse, which will be available for free, for the Wii U, computers, phones, and later 3DS. First, users can recommend games to others which in turn will increase revenues due to exposure among the Wii U userbase. Second, it would allow players to connect to each other even if they are not playing a multi-player game. By knowing that there are other players around, Iwata hoped that it would cause a feeling of empathy.

During a Nintendo's Direct broadcast, Level-5 CEO, Akihiro Hino, revealed the newest Professor Layton puzzle game for the 3DS, which would be his last. Titled Layton Kyouju to Choubunmei A (Professor Layton And the Legacy of Advanced Civilization A), it begins when Professor Layton received a letter from a person who claimed to have found a living mummy.

The game will be out next year.

In the PC version of Dark Souls, players will go into the past and encounter Knight Artorias. Later you will confront him as Artorias of the Abyss.

While this quest is already available in the PC version, it will be out as a DLC for PS3 and Xbox 360 this winter.

The trailer for the latest Shin Megami Tensei game, which was included in the 3DS game Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, has been posted online by Atlus. The official website has been also been updated with the trailer and the hint, "First trailer included with Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers… And then…"

Atlus USA has announced that the Vita remake of Persona 4 will have a premium edition. The Solid Gold Premium Edition will include the game, a set of stickers, protective skin, wallpapers, a Persona 4 theme pouch, and face cover.

This edition will cost $69.99 and will have limited quantity of 10,000 copies. The regular edition will only cost $39.99. Both versions will be out in N. America this fall.

According to a preview in Famistu, the third installment in the BlazBlue series will only be available for the PS3 after its arcade release. Series producer Toshimichi Mori said that they are treating this game as if it is a new title and that they are focusing on its network mode. He also added that they have added a lot of gameplay elements to keep players playing.

Compile Hearts announced that its Neptunia franchise will be getting an anime. The series pokes fun of the console wars and personified the consoles as anime characters. No information on which studio will be in charge of the series.
